Østerbø Fjellstove camping

We offer camping for tents, motorhomes, and caravans, with the possibility of electricity.

Adjacent to the campsite, there is a sanitary building with showers, toilets, a washing machine, and a dishwashing room. Our camping guests are welcome to use the lounges and restaurant at the mountain lodge. It is possible to order both breakfast and dinner in our restaurant.

The area offers many opportunities for hiking, fishing, and excursions. We also have a rowboat available for rent for our guests.

Check-in and information are available at the reception inside the mountain lodge. Our kiosk is open during the bus route season. Here you can buy homemade takeaway pizza, soft drinks, baked goods, and ice cream. At the reception, you can order fresh bread/rolls to pick up in the morning, as well as purchase milk and various kiosk items. The nearest grocery store is in Aurland (30 km away). Unfortunately, we do not yet have a waste disposal facility for toilets/waste water, but we hope to have this in place during 2025.

We do not take reservations for our campsite — only drop-in.

DNT members can receive a discount on our evening dinner, provided a valid membership is shown before payment. The discount only applies to standard dinners and only to those who are members. It does not apply to other meals or special events.
